Once again we won first place in the category of best company in maritime and river transport of the Maiores do Transporte & Melhores do Transporte 2019, an award for the best and largest transport companies.
The 32nd edition of the award event, held annually by Editora OTM, brought together about 500 Brazilian logistics and transportation executives and entrepreneurs, on November 26, in São Paulo (SP). The executive manager of Ship Operations, Paulo Afonso da Cruz Silva, received the trophy on behalf of our company.
During the event, it was also launched the 32nd edition of the yearbook Maiores do Transporte & Melhores do Transporte, with economic analysis of the winning companies. In an article dedicated to Transpetro, President Antonio Rubens Silva Silvino spoke about our challenges. “The company's focus is on achieving new gains in efficiency and productivity to be even more competitive, conquering new entrants to the market and maintaining current customers, with profitability”, he explained.
During the ceremony, Paulo Afonso said that the prize is a source of pride. “It is a recognition of the market, placing us at a high level. This motivation affects, without distinction, everyone who is part of our team. No organization is bigger than its staff. Therefore, the greater the recognition, the greater we will be. May our work contribute to more awards”, he said.
