Transpetro sponsors Rio Pipeline 2023 Conference

Transpetro is one Rio Pipeline 2023 sponsors with participation in seven plenary sessions and presentation of over 30 technical works. The event, to be held August 8-10 at the ExpoMag in Rio de Janeiro, will be the first onsite since 2019 and will have as its theme “Knowledge and energy for a new market”. The agenda of the largest meeting of the international pipeline community in Brazil will cover topics such as regulatory advances, regional energy integration and challenges to pipeline activities.

The President of Transpetro, Sérgio Bacci, will participate in the plenary session “CEO Talks” the afternoon of the first day of the event. “We are the largest logistics company for oil, derivatives and biofuels in Latin America and returning to participation in Rio Pipeline is essential for us to present the dimension of our businesses. Thanks to our operations people are able to travel the roads throughout our country, receive deliveries daily and travel by air. Most of the fuel used in these everyday activities uses our pipeline grid of approximately 8.5 thousand kms that traverses all regions in Brazil”, he stated.

The land pipelines operation of Transpetro is extremely safe, remotely operated by the National Logistics Control Center (CNCL), and environmentally sustainable. Twenty thousand fewer tanker trucks are saved from circulating on her highways in a single day of operation.

For Transpetro, safety is a non-negotiable value and must be present in all debates where land pipeline transportation is the theme. “There is not a more qualified forum to discuss this than Rio Pipeline, where we can divulge our work and view new perspectives. Being part of this project is aligned with our commitment to life, people and the environment”, states Bacci.

In the space #SomosTranspetro, a 122m² room located on the mezzanine, there is a studio where the Podcast “Pipeline Talk” is produced, receiving the participants of the event in its programming. At the location the company furthermore included the photographic exhibition “Transpetro under different looks”. The purpose is to empower one of the main assets of the company, elected by the new management: people. Built by workforce collaboration, the exhibition portrays, through photographs, a sensitive and humanized view of  Transpetro’s activities throughout Brazil.

“The company has resumed growth based on the commitment of the new management and the support and dedication of the workforce. We are celebrating 100 days at the head of Transpetro with positive results”, adds Bacci. The details of the first 100 days of the new management may be found here.
