Gilberto Freyre inaugurates a new class of gas tankers in the Transpetro fleet

Fifth gas tanker to join the Transpetro fleet, the ship Gilberto Freyre left the Suape Terminal (Ipojuca / PE) on October 30 for its inaugural voyage to Fortaleza, where it will make its first unloading operation.
With almost one hundred meters in length and 33 in height, in addition to a capacity for four thousand cubic meters and a four-stroke propulsion engine, Gilberto Freyre inaugurates a new class of gas tankers. The ship is lighter than the others of the company, which favors navigation in areas with depth restrictions.
Safety is the highlight of the vessel, which, like all others in the fleet, meets the strict requirements of international authorities. Gilberto Freyre is prepared to transport Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and operate in all regions of Brazil and South America.
