The brand is a valuable asset that reinforces the company’s identity. For this reason, it is necessary to ensure its correct use.

If you are a Transpetro partner or vendor, make sure you have Company authorization before using the brand.

Our brand is a composition of symbol and logo. The separate use of these elements is prohibited except in special cases.

To use the Transpetro Brands, choose the most convenient format and download it. The use of these brands is destined for the Company and its partners and vendors.

Main signature

The main signature – in the horizontal version- and secondary version - vertical – on a white background is the primary form of presentation and use of the Transpetro brand. This should be the starting point for creation of any media material.

The letters "BR" and the superimposed bar must always be in white, whatever the background of the application. If it is impossible to have a white background, smooth and light backgrounds are allowed up to a percentage equivalent to 15% of the total color saturation.

Monochromatic signature

The monochromatic brand has two standards and may only be used in cases where Transpetro does not control the creation to define the use of the white background or on materials with technical restrictions on the use of colors.  

Legibility is the main criteria for choosing the monochromatic brand. On dark backgrounds use the brand in white, with light backgrounds use the brand in black and on intermediate backgrounds use the monochromatic brand in white or black.

Reserve Area

A free area equivalent to the height of the “BR” letters must be observed around the signature, for a comfortable reading of the brand.

Maximum Reduction

Printed material

For printed material, the maximum reduction is 20 mm width for the horizontal signature and  , 15 mm width for the vertical signature.

Considering that there are various printing and production processes, we recommend conducting legibility tests when the brand is used in reduced sizes.

Digital media

In digital media the maximum reduction is 100 pixels wide for horizontal signature and 74 pixels wide for vertical signature.

In high resolution screens, these measurements may result in a very small brand.

In these cases the minimum size must that which offers good legibility.

Institutional Colors

In order to obtain the best result for color reproduction, the procedure of always using the original pantone table colors as reference should be followed, and note that even if the application surface or the color composition is different, the final result must be identical to the original samples. These are the specific tonalities of green and yellow named Petrobras Yellow and Petrobras Green. The references below show the correspondence of the institutional colors with other systems.

The PDF and CDR files are made available in CMYK values for offset printing on coated paper (glossy).

Low JPG  - Small image for main use as document headers or footers.

High JPG – High resolution image for use in videos and other applications.

PDF – “Multi-format” file for graphic publishing. Made be imported. May be imported as vector in programs such as Illustrator, CorelDraw or FreeHand. CDR - Vector file for graphic publishing in CorelDraw.
