New aframax vessel is delivered to Transpetro

The ship Carlos Drummond de Andrade, second in a series of five aframax ships that will be built by the Atlântico Sul Shipyard (Estaleiro Atlântico Sul - EAS), left Ipojuca (Pernambuco - PE), on September 28 (Friday), for its inaugural trip towards Salvador (Bahia - BA), where it will carry out its first loading operation.
With 249 meters in length and 50 in height, Carlos Drummond de Andrade was built to transport oil and has a capacity of 114 thousand deadweight tons (DWT). The vessel, like all others in the fleet, meets strict requirements of international authorities.
