New vessel is delivered to Transpetro in Pernambuco

Another new Transpetro ship started operating last Monday (5/29). Towards its maiden voyage, Milton Santos is the ninth suezmax built by Estaleiro Atlântico Sul (EAS) and will be able to transport up to one million barrels of oil.
With a length of 274 meters, the vessel, which left Pernambuco, will proceed to the Campos Basin. Its operational start-up represents an increase of approximately 150 thousand deadweight tons (DWT) in Transpetro's loading capacity, which consolidates the company's competitiveness in the area of maritime transport.
The incorporation of Milton Santos to 55 other vessels in the fleet also reaffirms the quality of the services performed and required by Transpetro, in partnership with the shipyards, respecting the most rigorous international standards.
