Note regarding the novel coronavirus

We at Transpetro are closely following the developments on the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and all the directives from the competent health agencies. Conscious of our role in fighting this pandemic, we have adopted preventive measures required to prevent the dissemination of COVID-19 and thus save lives. It is a time for unity, care, awareness and overcoming.

Note the main measures already adopted:

- We have issue a Coping Plan for COVID-19 to monitor and guide the preventive actions and to protect the health of our employees, as well as mitigation activities in the Transpetro areas.

- We established telework for employees that may perform their activities remotely. Persons with risk conditions, in any activity, are also operating remotely. We have also directed our service vendors to adopt the same procedures.

- For those that perform essential activities for operational continuity, we established new routines and reinforced the monitoring and mitigating activities, which include strengthening the hygiene and health routines.

- We intensified cleaning routines,  health services and guidance to our employees to ensure all preventive measures are followed.

- We suspended onsite events and meetings with more than 20 persons and intensified online meetings.

- We suspended all foreign travel. In Brazil, we continued only strictly necessary trips, with all prior precautions and health recommendations. Persons returning from foreign trips, whether for work or vacation, will undergo quarantines and execute their activities via telework.

- We intensified the communication methods with our employees using dedicated channels (emails and phone).

Our initiatives are preventive and aligned with the recommendations and protocols of the World Health Association (WHO) and the Ministry of Health. Our purpose is to contribute to the efforts to reduce the risks and to avoid contagion, preventing more people from circulating in public. We created a permanent central committee to follow the worldwide scenario provoked by the novel coronavirus and to assess on a daily basis the need for adoption of new measures.
