Transpetro achieved Level 1 of the IG-Sest Governance Indicator (Indicador de Governança das empresas estatais federais). The certificate was developed by the State Government Coordination and Governance Secretariat (Secretaria de Coordenação e Governança das Estatais - Sest) in order to assess compliance with the requirements required by the State-Owned Companies Responsibility Law (law No. 13,303). Such parameters seek to implement the best market practices and the highest level of excellence in corporate governance in federal state-owned companies.
Chief Financial Officer Fernando Kamache received the certificate delivered by the Minister of Planning, Development and Management, Esteves Colnago, at a ceremony held on Friday (11/23/2018) at the ministry's headquarters in Brasilia. The executive manager of Governance, Risks and Compliance, Carlos Frederico Leipnik Kotouc, also represented the company.
The certificate attests to the excellence of the existing governance at Transpetro, the quality of corporate management and transparency in the disclosure of relevant information to stakeholders.
