Transpetro continues contingency work resulting from criminal activity on pipeline in Paraná

Transpetro continues with contingency work on the pipeline that was targeted for criminal theft activity last Friday (5/15) in the Agaraú region, in São José dos Pinhais (PR). The violation of the pipeline by the criminals caused an ethanol and gasoline leak that was readily contained by the company without victims or injuries. The fuel supply in the market is not compromised due to the crime. The company is executing the containment of the fuel that leaked from the pipeline and the repair of the installations. The operations of the pipeline continue suspended.
Transpetro is performing constant monitoring of the quality of the soil and water from reservoirs and wells in the region.
