Transpetro is recognized by Abrinq as a Child Friendly Company

For the sixth consecutive year, Transpetro received the Abrinq Foundation label of “Child Friendly Company”. The program mobilizes and recognizes organizations that carry out social actions to promote and defend rights during childhood and adolescence.
The renewal of the label reiterates the importance of actions for digital inclusion, school reinforcement, education, environmental awareness and socio-cultural activities around the company's facilities. Among the projects that contributed to this achievement, the Green Belt Ecological Project, of the São Francisco do Sul Terminal (Santa Catarina - SC), stands out.
Result of a partnership between Transpetro and the Free University for the Protection of Biodiversity (Universidade Livre de Proteção à Biodiversidade  - Unibio), the Green Belt was created 12 years ago. In addition to assisting and promoting the development and socio-environmental awareness of communities neighboring Tefran, the São Francisco Terminal, the work engages students from public schools in São Francisco do Sul, who participate in the monitoring and maintenance of Horta Viva.
Some social actions developed by the company also helped the achievement, such as the Campaign to Combat Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents; promotion of the 2016 Olympic Booklet, a guide from the Abrinq Foundation on combating and preventing sexual exploitation, and volunteering campaigns.
Founded in 1990, Abrinq is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the defense of the rights and exercise the citizenship of children and adolescents. One of the main commitments of the organization is to combat child and youth work.
