Control room management workshop
Transpetro's General Manager of Logistics and Integrated Control, Rafael Noac, mediated the Control Room Management Practices panel (CRM), which brought together representatives of companies from Latin America (Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Peru) and U.S.. The topics were the strategies adopted in the implementation of good practices, compliance with legal requirements and standards and modernization for pipeline monitoring.
The topics mentioned at the meeting will be the subject of permanent knowledge exchange between companies. “This is an environment for exchanging experiences. I believe that this meeting could be the beginning of a great integration of good practices in the management of Transpetro and other companies in the sector in South America and in the world ”, commented Noac.
Operations Manager at Transpetro's National Control and Logistics Center (Centro Nacional de Controle e Logística  - CNCL), Eduardo Merçon highlighted that adherence to CRM is a trend mainly in South America. “I suggest that we have an annual forum to deal with CRM issues.
