Transpetro has achieved, for the second consecutive time, the maximum degree (level 1) in the IG-Sest (Indicador de Governança das empresas estatais federais) governance indicator, created by the State Government Coordination and Governance Secretariat, of the Ministry of Economy structure. The ceremony for the 4th evaluation cycle was held last Friday (08/09), at the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasília.
President Antonio Rubens Silva Silvino represented Transpetro at the event and received the certificate delivered by the Secretary for Coordination and Governance of State-owned Companies, Fernando Soares, and by the Director of Evaluation and Governance of State-owned Companies, Ricardo Faria.
IG-Sest is an instrument for continuous monitoring in order to assess compliance with the requirements of Law No. 13,303 / 2016, known as the State-Owned Companies Law. The initiative seeks to implement in the federal state enterprises the best market practices and an increasing level of excellence in corporate governance. Sest's objective is for these companies to develop actions that go beyond the mere compliance with legal requirements.
