Transpetro signs cooperation agreement with the Public Ministry – RJ

On Tuesday (18), Transpetro signed a cooperation agreement with the Rio de Janeiro Public Prosecutor's Office (Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro - MPRJ) to combat criminal actions in the pipelines operated by the company.
Signed by President Antonio Rubens Silvino and Attorney General José Eduardo Gussem, the document aims mainly to guarantee the protection of life, the environment and the integrity of the facilities since the theft of fuel in pipelines causes risks to neighboring communities, which can cause leaks, fires and explosions.
The text of the agreement, which is valid for five years, provides, among other actions, for mutual training between Transpetro and MPRJ employees, the exchange of information and reciprocal technical support in the fight against this crime.
