Transpetro wins Companies that Best Communicate with Employees Award (PEMCC)

Transpetro received the Companies that Best Communicate with Employees Award (PEMCC). Participating with 87 finalist projects (from 48 brands, in total), the company was among the finalists with seven cases in eight categories and won with the case “Transpetro with Open Doors: Virtual Visit Program”.

Internal communication specialists and sector professionals assessed the initiatives entered considering originality, project impact, planning and execution. According to the jury, “the projects demonstrate the efforts of the sector in search of excellence of communication with employees”.

Among the finalists Transpetro submitted various initiatives that combine creative and innovative internal communication strategies to people management in eight categories: Organizational Memory, Technology, Campaign, Event, Research, Brand Purpose, Revolution and Corporate Vehicle.

The Business and Media Communication Manager, Lilian Rossetto, reinforces the role of internal communications to strengthen the company’s image and reputation: "in 2023, we proposed to improve our communications, making them even more transparent and closer to the workforce. To win this award demonstrates how much our efforts to build increasingly strategic internal communications are being perceived. Our cases are added to many other initiatives that seek to strengthen the employment brand and partnering with the Human Resources area is essential to this goal", she stated.

For Alexandre Almeida, Executive HR Manager of the company, the award nominations represent a special achievement for Transpetro. “Participation in the award with seven cases and being among the finalist is great reason to celebrate. For a year we have been working consistently and investing in several actions to restore our pride of belonging to Transpetro and this award reflects our efforts in this direction”.

Result

1st  place in the Technology category with the case Transpetro with Open Doors: Virtual Visit Program.

2nd place We Are Transpetro in the Campaign category.

2nd place in the category Event with the case Transpetro Annual Results Meeting.

3rd place in the Research category with Culture Journey.

3rd  place in Brand Purpose with the case We Are Transpetro in the Four Corners Circuit.

3rd  place in the Organizational Memory category presenting the case Transpetro Under Different Views.

5th  place in the Revolution and Corporate Vehicle categories with the We Are Transpetro in the Four Corners Circuit and Transpetro Magazine and Podcast in Movement.

About the award

The award is an initiative of the Better HR and Communication Enterprise Platforms and of the Communication Studies Center CECOM). All cases selected as finalists receive the PEMCC stamp for their performance in communications with employees..

Company representatives attended the awards ceremony held on 23 April in at the CIEE Theater in São Paulo.
