Transpetro’s Presence is a highlight of the 18th Edition of Navalshore

With master sponsorship by Transpetro, the 18th Edition of Navalshore, largest show and conference of the maritime industry in Latin America was attended by approximately 13 thousand visitors at the Expo Mag Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro. The event attracted 110 exhibitors and 400 brands from Brazil and foreign countries. President Sérgio Bacci provided a quick analysis of Transpetro’s presence at the event.

“For Transpetro it is essential to contribute to the debates at this moment where we are resuming acquisitions of new vessels”  stated Bacci, highlighting the return of investments in the sector and the results attained with this initiative. “We launched the TP25, our fleet renewal and expansion program. It is important to emphasize that expanding our own fleet generates more value and provides more operational security and return to shareholders”, he added.

The highlight of the event was the Fleet Renewal and Expansion Program for our vessel fleet. Bacci covered the theme at the opening ceremony, noting its strategic importance to the energy efficiency and logistics of the Petrobras System. The Maritime Transportation Director, Jones Soares, also spoke of the benefits of the program at “TP 25 – Good for Brazil” conference, emphasizing that it is good for Brazil because it repositions the county in its maritime strategy for logistics  oil and derivatives and low carbon products.

Transpetro teams conducted over 100 scheduled meetings in the Negotiation Rounds space and meeting rooms of the company, in the mezzanine. The Sector Manager for Business Partnerships and Budgeting, Laura Brasil, highlighted the importance of this action. “This direct contact with the company representatives at the events promotes the market and expedites the updating of the Transpetro vendor bank, he explained.

At the company stand, approximately 600 people participated of the interactive actions at the site, such as the touchscreen quiz and virtual reality googles. Over 2,500 interactions were held at the Transpetro spaces at the event, which in pioneering fashion offered a support room for breastfeeding, with adequate structure for collecting and storing mother’s milk.

The action was supported by women and attracted the attention of breastfeeding mothers, who now have a welcoming space. Andreia Andrade Fernandes Santos, 40, mother of Helena, 4 months, and donor of mother’s milk to 3 milk banks, praised the initiative.

“The initiatives such as the breastfeeding support room are important. They greatly facilitate breastfeeding mothers such as me, that face the challenge of reconciling breastfeeding with work commitments and events. This help is essential and makes a big difference to our daily maternal attributions”, she explained.
