We have launched on Friday (13/08), the Transpetro Tender and Contract Regulations (RLCT). Published in the Official Daily Journal, it meets the provisions of Law 13.303/16 (Public Company Law) and is the result of internal multidisciplinary work. The new document better adheres to the characteristics and particularities of the company than the previous one. For example, it accounts for the activities pertaining to the business purpose of the company, which will allow for contracting by means of waiver of the tender procedure.

The creation of the RLCT was based on the Petrobras Tender and Contract Regulations (RLCP) – adopted previously by Transpetro. We implemented approximately 40 changes to arrive at our own document. Some changes ensure disclosure of certain contracting practices performed by the company, made possible due to its particular characteristics .

In addition the document includes advances in the regulation of recent legislation regarding contracting, making the process more dynamic. The development of the RLCT took into account characteristics specific to Transpetro, adding more instruments to the regulation by providing new techniques and tools for executing more efficient contracting.

RLCT reaffirms our permanent commitment with ethics, integrity and transparency in conducting business, with zero tolerance for any type of conduct deviation, especially regarding fraud and corruption, preserving our credibility among our stakeholders.
