We launched the Voluntary Dismissal Program (PDV) for maritime employees

We approved the Voluntary Dismissal Program (PDV) exclusively for maritime employees. The purpose of the initiative is to promote personnel management, strategically aligned with active management of the fleet, allowing for greater competitiveness of the company and sustainable operation.
We currently have a highly specialized and committed maritime workforce, trained at the Transpetro Academy, which operates its vessel fleet with technical knowhow and respect for life and the environment. With the adaptation of the maritime workforce to the interests of the employees and the company, we will maintain the number required for continuity and operational safety in line with top level metrics established by upper management. The program has an estimated return (avoided personnel costs lest indemnification disbursements) of R$ 552 million by 2025.
This is the first PDV that we implement, and is destined to maritime employees with 50 or more years on vessels or providing onshore services, whether at Transpetro, assigned to other Petrobras companies or to government agencies. Employees not apt for sea work may also enroll, and for which there is no age limit. We will accept enrollment until the end of August and the dismissals will occur between September 2020 and July 2021. We estimate approximately 557 employees will adhere to the program.
We reiterate our commitment to transparency and respect to all our employees. We seek to create conditions for these professionals to make the best choice, always maintaining our commitment to ethics, transparency and the highest level of safety and efficiency in our operations.
