Transpetro’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, which was approved in 2020, is a result of the revision and unification of Petrobras System’s previous Code of Ethics and Petrobras’ Guide for Conduct. It is intended to provide employees with unified guidelines with regards to commitments and expected behavior.

The uniting of these documents sought to, in addition to other benefits, provide simplification and reduce the amount of questions and concerns that may arise as a result of the need to analyze two documents in unison. In addition to favoring a principle-based approach, the Code of Ethics and Conduct is focused on values and commitments, as well as objectivity, and uses language that is accessible to all audiences and objective, easy to understand content.
